Save The World Designs offers totally unique hand made products that are made from recycled goods. We are trying to show the world that you can recycle items that would
normally fill our overcrowded landfills...recycle them and turn them into a beautiful treasure!
We would like you to take an oath to try at least ONE of the Earth friendly ideas below :
- Brush your teeth in the shower....saves our precious water! Multi-tasking at its best!
- Don't throw out your aluminum cans! Save them and once a month...take them to be recycled!
- If you simply MUST use plastic at the grocery store....re-use them as waste basket liners
- To insure a safe delivery...we carefully wrap your items in bubble wrap. PLEASE RE-USE ALL BUBBLE WRAP!!!
- Put your grocery bags to good use! Cut off the handles and fold the plastic bags lengthwise into fourths...place the plastic grocery bag between 2 pieces of wax paper and
iron them on low heat until they turn into 1 seamed piece...sew the recycled bag pieces together and make a NEW cute bag or backpack out of them! Recycling and eco-fashion!
- Bring a bucket in the shower...off to the side...it will catch a TON of run-off water and you can water your plants with it!
- Shred your junk mail and old paperwork and use the shreds in your shipping boxes!
(This is a great idea from Gretchen!)
- Want to recycle your juice boxes or wrappers? Go to TerraCycle today!
Recycle your aluminum pull tabs! Save your aluminum pull tabs
and place them in a zip lock baggie. When your baggie is full...send them along with your name, mailing address, wrist size and bracelet color preferred to:
